Share Your World – January 23, 2017

Do you prefer juice or fruit?

Boff! I actually like both a lot.  I love to eat fruit like grapes and bananas.  I also like the juices.  It would be difficult to decide.

Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?

Yes.  I was born in Atlanta, Georgia.   When I was 8 years old, we moved to Inman, South Carolina.  So, from a huge city to a small city.  Then, when I was almost 12, we moved from Inman, South Carolina, to Iva, South Carolina.  Iva was so small it had the welcome and come back again signs on the same signpost.

Iva was like one big family.  It was a great place to be growing up.  Everyone knew one another.  There were bad people, lots of them.  Other than the odd jerk, the people were alright.

If you were to paint a picture of your childhood, what colors would you use?

All of them.  Reds, greens, blues, yellow, you name it.  I don’t associate colors with moods like many people do.  I like bright colors.

I grew up in Leave it to Beaver land.  I was unaware of the crap going on around me.

Ways to Relax List: Make a list of what relaxes you and helps you feel calm.

Readin’ and ‘ritin’ an’ stuff like that.  I like to read the comics on the computer.  I like to write.  I actually enjoy crunching numbers when I know what the numbers represent.  It is difficult to comprehend concepts without being able to picture where those numbers relate.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am grateful for our Heavenly Father. I am grateful to still be alive.  This week is fairly hectic, as will be the next several weeks.  I am looking forward to the last week of February.

We are still working hard towards Suzanne’s GoFundMe for her eye surgery.  She has an offer for all of her readers. Please keep us in your prayers and continue to promote this fundraiser.

If you would like for me to pray for you, please drop me an e-mail by clicking prayer.

  1. Now, it really is beaver land over there. I saw something the other day that said lots of beavers had moved into the area over that way in South Carolina. Love you!
