Word High July For July 02 2016 Timpi

Today’s Word High July word is Timpi.  This is Filipino for 'to control one’s self'.  At 280 pounds, this is something I need to learn to do when it comes to eating.  When it comes to temper, I have a long way to go as well.

I can get upset very easily when I am faced with stupid.  When someone does not do their job or a task that they were asked to do, that sets me off as well.   When a person tells me they will perform a task, I expect they will do it.

I am a very impatient person. When I say “Here in a little bit, I want you to do this,” I really mean you should be done with this in the next few minutes.
Many people have a problem with controlling one’s self when it comes to spending money.  Often, people will spend money they don’t have on things they don’t need simply because it is easy to put things on credit and having something new makes them feel better.  Don’t be like this.  Try saying no to yourself when it comes to purchases.

What about you?  Do you have control of yourself?

  1. Hi David! I can relate with both the eating and the attitude. And I love your honesty for saying these things that are considered flaws. :)

    Thank you!

    1. Thank you for stopping by. As I get older and older, I have become more set in my ways.
