2017 September's Where I Come From Challenge Day 20

This challenge is based on Kenny Chesney's song "Back Where I Come From".  Suzanne over at PS-Annie! and McClendon villa has included home-and hometown-related questions to round out our 30 days of posts.
Come on and join in.  It will be a blast.
Today’s question is:

20.   Did you have a neighborhood park/playground?  Did you play there?

Nope, in Inman, the closest thing we had to a park was the school playground. We
would walk up there sometimes and play.  The school was about a mile from our house.  My brother and I walked home from school almost everyday during my sixth grade year.

In Iva, we had nothin’.  There was a ball field nearby with a few broken swings and seesaws.  Not really much fun to seesaw with only half a seesaw.

We really did not need a park.  We had trees to climb and a barn to play in. There was a little patch of woods near our house.  What could be more fun?
