One Word Photo Challenge: Cat
I actually developed the image you see here for another meme. This particular image really speaks to me because our pets very often are our best therapists.
This image is of our Rainbow Bridge kitty named Xerxes. Xerxes was the only cat I ever included in any future plans I was making. He was the only cat we ever had, and there have been many, who I ever truly looked forward to getting home to see.
We considered him to be our baby and we worried when we had to leave him alone.
He got very sick and we took him to the Wharton Veterinary Clinic in Wharton, Texas.
The staff was very good, but there was nothing they could do to save him from the Feline Leukemia. We still have five cats: Little Bit, Bagel Bites, Callie, and the two babies; Dandelion and Daisy. Well, we don't really have five cats. Our house is the cat nursery, always has been it seems. Cats come here to have their babies and then they move on.
In future posts, I will have to tell you how I got two cats for the price of one and how God has a sense of humor when it comes to cats.
I'm so so sorry about the circumstances under which you lost this gorgeous baby. He sounds like he spent his time with you quite well, being the best of family members. Thank you for sharing him with us.
ReplyDeleteHe was full of love and full of life. Thanks for commenting.
