Here are the fill-ins:

1. I hope My Little Pony gets renewed for another season.

In truth, Suzanne and I watch practically no television. Our kids like the show My Little Pony.  Suzanne and I watch old movies and educational shows on Amazon Prime.

The other day we invested in a Roku device and we watched a show about historic lighthouses on Amazon Prime.  There is a homesteading channel on Roku that we watch from time to time.  We have seen all the episodes of it so far.

We keep our Amazon Prime membership because we get free shipping.  It works out great for us because we write reviews.  This means that companies can give us stuff and ship it to us free using our Prime.

The Prime videos are a great extra.  We don’t have a satellite or cable television provider.  Who needs one?  We used to have Netflix, but why do we need that when there is so much out there free?

2. My first crush was Orange, I think..

Seriously, it was probably Marilyn.  She was the daughter of the contractor who was remodeling our house.  She would come over with her father.  We would sit on the porch while he worked.
This was back when I was 12.

3. Spring_usually makes me _have a nervous feeling

I don’t know why it is, but when it gets to be spring I generally get a nervous feeling.  Maybe because that is when we had final report cards and I knew how devastating it would be to fail at school.  Maybe there is some other reason.  It just seems to happen.
4. If I were a super-hero, I would be Hong Kong Fooey.
In the show Hong Kong Fooey, the super hero would get everything wrong but somehow it would work out.  His faithful sidekick Spot the striped cat would fix whatever went wrong and Hong Kong would get the credit.

This is sort of like how my real life goes.  I get things terribly wrong and my faithful sidekick Suzanne fixes the things I get wrong.

Well, that is it for now.  I hope you all have a great weekend. If the weather will allow it, Suzanne and I will go see some wildflowers here in Gulf Coast Texas this weekend.  If not, she and I and our grand-dogger Petra will hang out here at home.

If you would like for me to pray for you, please drop me an e-mail by clicking prayer.

  1. Thank you for those great answers. Funny one about orange crush :) Netflix is not worth it anyway, they don't have much to offer. I get a lot of new movies from the library. That is sweet that Suzanne is your super-hero sidekick. Have a great weekend!

    1. We are into old classic movies. We have several on DVD like, It's a Wonderful LIfe, Darby O'Gill and the Little People, and others. We watch them from time to time. Mostly, we don't watch much television at all. Have a great weekend.

  2. Great answers today. I have no idea what Roku is or how it works. I just tried Netflix and still am not sure I get it. My Little Pony? That is funny. I get a sense of dread with Summer. I think it because of my breathing problems, though. And spiders. I have never seen that cartoon, either. I think I am old-school. *sigh* Have a great weekend!

    1. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. A Roku is a device that you plug into your television. You can use it to watch NetFlix on the T.V. You can also watch Amazon Videos on it. Roku has hundreds of free channels, too. We like the homesteading channel. They stopped having new episodes though. There is also one called Lecture Kings where one can watch college lectures free from schools like Yale.

  3. I forgot about Hong Kong Fooey. Good one!

I hope you get a chance to see the wildflowers. We lived in north Texas for a few years. I just loved seeing the bluebonnets.

    1. The Presbyterian Church here has a flower field. It has lots of wildflowers. It seems they have more than most places.
