Onikuma Model K1-B Professional Gaming Headset Product Review

We received a Onikuma Model K1-BProfessional Gaming Headset for review.  We use many different headsets in the McClendon Studios.  Some are great and some are not so good.

What we like about this headset is that it is comfortable.  We need a good headset here in the studios so that we can hear those subtle sounds that are so important when editing.  The Onikuma Model K1-B Professional GamingHeadset is certainly up to that task.

There are times when we need a headset with a microphone for recording voice overs.  The sound quality from the microphone is great.  It produces a clear sound and rejects a lot of the background noise.

The sound quality is very good.  The sounds are clear and distinct. 

We don’t do a great deal of gaming here in McClendon Studios, but our children do.  We had our oldest daughter try the headset and she was impressed.

Gamers wear headsets for long stretches of time, so comfort is very important.  This headset is very lightweight and comfortable. We can imagine a serious gamer getting a good deal of use out of one of these headsets.

According to the box, this headset is available in red, yellow, and blue.  Not only are they good looking, they are just downright cool.

LEDs light up when plugged into a USB port for power.  Although we see no real need for a headset to light up, it is a very cool feature. 

We tried them out with editing, watching YouTube videos, watching videos we recorded, and even a little gaming.  Of course, around here when the kids are away, most of our gaming consists of Mahjong and Polar Bowler.  The headset passed every test we could throw at it and still works great.
