Book Review: Touch by Robert Flynn III

We were sent a review copy of The Touch by Robert Flynn III for the purpose of writing this review.  There was no cost or obligation for this copy of the book.

Have you ever eaten a bag of Salt and Vinegar potato chips?  If you have, you know what it is like to read The Touch.   When you eat these chips, you don’t know whether you like them or you don’t.  You just know that you have to keep eating them.

The Touch is well-written and entertaining.  It is also very thought provoking.  We won’t go so far as to say that this book is scripturally sound, but we will say that having a keen grasp on what you believe is essential.

We give The Touch a total of five stars based on the entertainment value alone.  We see nothing in it that would be opposed to a Christian belief.  There are a few naughty words in the book, but just a few, and The Lord is never mocked and His name is never used in vain.

We are looking forward to reading part 2 while at the same time we are not.  Just like eating that bag of Salt and Vinegar chips.  We may not be able to stop.

The Touch is one of those books that you experience on an upper level of your mind. One finds oneself thinking more than one normally would when reading other fiction.
