Here are the fill-ins:
1. My favorite line from a film is there are too many to choose from.
One line Bill Murray uses in Ghostbusters goes something like this, “If I am
wrong, nothing happens, we go to jail, it will be fun. But if I am right…”
This to me is a great response to someone who does not believe in God. I tell them, “If I am wrong nothing happens, we just both cease to be. But if I am right…”
2. Other than blogs, a website I visit often is my bank.
Other than blogs, the only other places I go normally is to my bank to make sure I have not overdrawn anything and to see a few comics like Pluggers and Broom Hilda.
3. When I feel down, I pray that much harder and ask others to pray with me.
I am really a very upbeat person. I don’t get down that often. When I do, Suzanne knows right off the bat and she helps lift me up. And, I pray a lot. If I really feel down, I ask others to pray for me and with me.
4. If I could rid the world of drama, I would do so.
There are so many people in this world who are just not happy unless they are causing drama. I have no use for those people. Life is too short to have a churning stomach.
Thanksgiving and Christmas back at McClendon Manor, which is a fancy name for a house we had that was the family home, but not grand by any stretch of the imagination, was often filled with drama.
We had one relative who would feel slighted by the least little thing. Doors would get slammed and voices would raise. Then, my father would coddle the "offended party" and they would feel better. It was that person’s way of getting attention.
We hope you all had a great fourth of July. Have a great weekend.

If only we could harness all of this drama, into a book, a play, or something. Goodness knows, we have our own soap opera going on.
ReplyDeleteI love you, my Zing.
The thing is, if we did, no one would believe people could be this crazy. I love you. Zing! Zing!
DeleteThank you for these great fill-in answers. Praying is the best thing to do in pretty much any situation. I prefer to be drama free too. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteDrama free would be good. We keep praying for that. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
DeleteGreat answers. I so agree with your #4. Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Some people feed on drama. I feed on taters. Have a great weekend, as well.
DeleteGood answers, David. You are so right about #1. I sure believe!
ReplyDeleteI always keep close track of our banking, too. It is easier to stay ahead of it than try to "fix" it. I really do not like drama. The people who seem to thrive on it wear me out. The ones who are incessantly negative do, too. We all know a few of each of these. Have a good week!
