Life on Stella Maris is never same-ol’ same-ol’. Take in a crime, which may or may not be a murder, add in a cast of characters who all have some type of secret to hide, stir in a cast of good ol’ Southern people, mix in a guardian spirit, and poof, you have the perfect recipe to overcome the same-ol’ same-ol’.
Boyer is not like many writers of a series. Instead of becoming predictable, dry, and repetitive, each new book is like a continuation of the last and takes new twists and turns.
These books are well-written and just plain fun. Our author makes us hungry for good old Southern comfort foods. This makes our mouths water and our tummies plead for some of that good old food. We give Lowcountry Book Club all five stars along with two snaps up in a circle and some ham biscuits, too.

Five Star Review |
Even yankees can like the Liz Talbot books. They can read them and pretend they grew up in God’s Country. When you order your copy of this book, order all six books that have been written so far. Just like eating certain potato chips, no one can read just one.
