If you are in a family business, you must at some time in your life develop an end game plan.  Will you simply wind it down? Will it die with you? Will you pass it on to the next generation?

The Art of Selling the Family Business by John Pellegrin discusses all of those possibilities and more.  

Pellegrin tells readers about his experience with taking over the family business and his fears along the way.  He also conducted doctoral research into many families that were faced with selling their family business.

We give The Art of Selling the Family Business all five stars.  It is very well-written and entertaining.  It is very readable. To say it was well-researched would be an extreme understatement because, not only did Pellegrin live this, he spent many years conducting doctoral level research to learn even more.
