2017 September's Where I Come From Challenge

This challenge is based on Kenny Chesney's song "Back Where I Come From".  Suzanne over at PS-Annie! and McClendon villa has included home-and hometown-related questions to round out our 30 days of posts.
Come on and join in.  It will be a blast.
Today’s question is:

10.                         How do you feel about the place that you came from?

I am nostalgic about it.  Reality could never live up to the memories I have.  Perception is your reality.  I perceive it to be a charming place. In reality, the place, like all others, has its problems.  There are jerks and odd laws no matter where you go.

I love my mental picture.  My mental picture, though, dates back to 1974-1987.

The old saying, “You can never go home”, comes to mind.

If you would like for me to pray for you, please drop me an e-mail by clicking prayer.

  1. The saying, "You're always 17 in your hometown" fits, too. Some folks will never let us grow up. I love you, my Zing. :)

    1. I imagine that if we went back those who are still there would still think of us as 17. I love you, my Zing!

    1. You are right. We all have people to deal with. When people get in the mix, there are bound to be imperfections.
