This meme is called 2017 September's Where I Come From Challenge
This challenge is based on Kenny Chesney's song "Back Where I Come From". Suzanne over at PS-Annie! and McClendon villa has included home-and hometown-related questions to round out our 30 days of posts.
Come on and join in. It will be a blast.
Today’s question is:
28. Was your hometown like one big family or just a group of strangers?
It was one big family. Everyone knew everyone else. If I did something my parents knew about it before I got home.
If you had sickness, everyone knew and tried to help.
There was always that one person who would be jealous of what they thought someone else had. Overall, it was a great place.
I remember one time I bought a shoe horn with a horse head on it at the drugstore. Before I got home, my parents knew what I bought and how much I paid for it. This was no big deal. It was just odd that anyone thought anything enough about the purchase to tell my parents.
