Book Review: Butterfly Wings: A Coloring Book for Grieving Children by Rev. Penny Stemley

We all grieve in different ways.  Children are no different.  They grieve, too.  The problem is they may not understand enough to articulate what they are feeling.

The wonderful coloring book, Butterfly Wings: A Coloring Book for Grieving Children by Rev. Penny Stemley, is an outstanding way to reach children who have suffered a loss, no matter how recently.

The story is very touching and we feel would help young ones who know what they feel.  They may or may not be able to express it in words.  Having this little story to help them understand, just might help.

This might be the perfect thing to help children of any age understand what they are feeling.  It would make an excellent book before there is a loss, too.

We give Butterfly Wings all five stars.  We think this is an excellent idea.

We were sent a complimentary copy of this book.  We are under no obligation to write any review, positive or negative.

  1. That does sound like a helpful book for grieving kids. I hope to never need to buy one for anyone though.
