What a wonderful book.  At Your Service: A Belated Autobiography of Lieutenant General Sir Brian Kimmins with Malcolm Kimmins takes readers behind the scenes to learn what life was like for a British officer in both world wars.

The General truly lived a charmed and fascinating life.  It seems that everywhere he went history was being made.  Some of the scans of diary entries are very hard to read.  However, we found that fighting through the difficulty was well-rewarded.
