When Food is Your Frenemy: From Obesity To Restored Health: How Bariatric Surgery And Portion Control Changed My Life by Jacob F. Bustos

If you are contemplating bariatric surgery of any type, you may wish to read When Food is Your Frenemy.  It starts off as if Jacob F. Bustos is tooting his own horn, but then we see a turn.

While many things were going great for the author, he suddenly realizes that things aren’t so great when it comes to his health.

When Food is Your Frenemy is a detailed account of Bustos’ trip into poor health and the decisions he had to make.

Part of the book is chock full of healthy recipes that will help one see that eating healthy doesn’t have to be all rice cakes and water.

If you or someone you care about is contemplating any type of weight loss program, you will want to read When Food is Your Frenemy.  We give it all five stars and a healthy salad.

    1. We agree with them. Diet, portion control, exercise, and lots of water. Lose weight naturally. It can be a pretty dangerous surgery. Many don't lose as much as they hoped. This guy almost died during a follow-up surgery.
