The title, Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Watergate* But Were Afraid to Ask is very misleading. A more appropriate title would be Comparisons of the Nixon and Trump Presidencies.
Readers really are not told everything and the title does not suggest that the book is full of Trump bashings. If that is the true purpose of the book, it should be disclosed on the cover.
The book contains recipes and quotes along with bits and pieces of trivia. There is an attempt at a timeline of events, but it really isn’t “Everything You Always Wanted to Know.”
Readers are given the names of a few books and movies that might help them to learn a little more about Watergate.
Three Star Review |
We give Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Watergate* But Were Afraid to Ask three stars because it is entertaining and does give a little information, but it really is more of a comparison between Trump and Nixon than anything else.
We were sent a complimentary copy of this book. We are under no obligation to write any review, positive or negative.
