Here are the fill-ins:
1. Suzanne brings out the best in me.
Suzanne often points out errors in my way of thinking. I often apt to fly off the handle as my grandma used to say. She often tells me something isn’t someone else’s fault and to calm down.
2. Waiting on anything makes me grumpier than Grumpy Cat.
I get really upset when there doesn’t appear to be any reason for a delay. If we are in the doctor’s office and no one is getting called back, that makes me grumpy. If I have to wait in line at all, I am not a happy camper.
If someone calls me and then puts me on hold, I hang up. Don’t call me for anything unless you have the time to concentrate on me.
3. If money grew on trees, I would be outside harvesting right now.
Really, we don’t need much in the way of money, which is good because we don’t have any. All we need is the roof over our heads, food in our bellies, and a good air conditioner. Enough money for a few WANTS would be nice, too. I want a drone, but it is just way out of our price range. I want a lot of things but we have learned to be content with the little we have. If we had a money tree, I would be putting Miracle Grow on it even as you read this.
4. I have a fear of Cobras.
I really don’t fear snakes so much anymore. But, when the cobra got loose a few years back, I was very concerned. The thing is, this cobra grew the longer he stayed on the lam. That thing started out at eight feet long. Just before they caught him, he had grown to over 20 feet long. When he escaped, the boy who was keeping him had only 27 or so venomous snakes. Just before the cobra was caught, the boy had hundreds of them. By the time the snake was caught, he was back down to 8 feet long and the boy had the same 27 snakes he started with.
We have a new YouTube Channel. It is all about things to eat and what goes on in the kitchen. RIght now, there is one video on peanut butter cookies. Choco Bombs are in pre-production. Suzanne and the girls have the easy part. All they have to do is bake, and get the recipes together. I have the very important job of making sure the cookies are safe for human and redneck consumption. It is a thankless job, but someone has to do it.
See y’all there.

I am glad that they caught that King cobra. I was surprised to learn that coral snakes are considered American Cobras. It was so nice of that one to drop in on me as I headed into the sewing room in the dark. haha
ReplyDeleteI love you, my Zing. :)
I love you, too, my Zing! It was so nice of that colorful Nope Rope to come for a visit in our breezeway. I am sure it added some excitement to your morning.
DeleteI have an awful fear of snakes, to the point that I can't even look at a picture of one.
ReplyDeleteYears ago we worked as newspaper carriers. One day the paper ran a photo of a snake in mid strike. Some of the carriers had to call substitutes because they could not stand to be in the car with this full color photo of a snake. It was kind of creepy. Have a blessed week.
DeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I fear all snakes, even little garter ones. Very sweet answer for #1, you are such an amazing couple. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteI have killed quite a few snakes out here, some of them in our kitchen. We once had a coral snake crawl past our 19 cats. Every one of them watched as the snake crawled past them. Not one of them tried to kill it. I killed it and they all shared it to eat. Snakes are a part of life out here on the Texas Gulf Coast. It is the one's you DON'T see that are the problem. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a blessed week.
DeleteThank you joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I should have mentioned snakes in my answer to #4. Snakes are not my biggest fear, but I'll admit that I'm not very comfortable around them. If I ever came upon a cobra, especially one 20 feet long, I'd most certainly run the other way. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteIf I came upon a cobra, I would not run. I would drop dead right there. The snake was actually 8 feet long, but the more the story was told, it got longer and longer. Have a blessed weekend.
DeleteOh yes, The Tribe of Five don't like to wait either and our Female Human is absolutely terrified of snakes, any kind of snakes, anything without legs. She says's it's Biblical.
ReplyDeletePurrs & Head Bonks,
Tucker
Here on the Texas Gulf Coast, they say the only good snake is a dead snake. Have a blessed week.
DeleteGreat answers. I hate waiting on line for anything and being put on hold forever is even worse. Hope you have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteIf I get put on hold, I often hang up. Have a blessed week.
