Here are the fill-ins:
We all have certain problems. No matter what, things just are not ever perfect. That being said, I lead a fairly charmed life. I have my beautiful child bride Suzanne, who is a wonderful baker. We have four lovely living children. All of our children are girls, except two of them.
2. If diabetic complications were worth money, then I would be rich.
A former doctor of mine once told me that I was the sickest living diabetic he had ever known. I think I have my fair share of complications. But, every day I am getting better and better.
3. I am proud of what Suzanne has accomplished with From the Kitchen of McClendon Villa.
We are slowly posting videos about how to make different recipes. Suzanne works hard to make the recipes as easy to follow as possible. If something doesn’t work out just right, we try it again and again.
Suzanne tries to remove all the guesswork.
4. If I could time travel, I would visit the year 1979.
For me, this one is a no brainer. 1979 is the year I met Suzanne. I did the stupid, as our kids would say. I was a goofball and I insulted Suzanne. We started out on the right foot and then I messed it up. If I could go back to 1979 and knew then what I know now, I would not say some of the stupid things I said. I would not do some of the stupid things that I did.
I am always interested in thinking about what could have been if I had not been stupid back then.
Check out a video of two of the new babies here at McClendon Villa.
Our friend Ellen, who is also one of the co-hosts of this blog hop, has a new book out, it is called Prancie's Prayer. Check it out.

ReplyDeleteThanks Ellen. Best of luck with your book sales. We are enjoying making the videos. We are slow adding them because we want to test the recipes to make sure they are as easy to follow as we can make them.

ReplyDeletePurrs & Head Bonks,
Oliver & The Tribe of Five at Feline Opines
Your beautiful child bride was able to see past anything you did back then, so don't be too hard on yourself.
ReplyDeleteHAH! The line about "all our children are girls except for two of them" sounded like something Gramps would say.
