Are You A Better Listener or Speaker?
I have never been accused of being a good listener. I am a wonderful speaker, if I do say so myself. I could talk the horns off a billie goat or the wings off a bat.
I love to tell stories and I love to make videos of me talking. I am not backed up about public speaking. I once taught CPR to an auditorium full of dentists when I was only 17 years old.
If You Were Asked To Design A Warning Label That Would Be Tattooed On Your Skin, What Would It Say?

It would never be tattooed on me. The way I was raised, to say it nicely, nice people are not tattooed. However, if I came with a warning label, it would say, “If you mess with my kids, you better bring your A game.”
What Are You Passionate About?
Jesus Christ, my Lord and personal Saviour. After Him would be Suzanne and our kids. I love to read and I love to make videos. I enjoy blogging and I enjoy the pets we have now.
If You Could Change One Thing About Your World, What Would It Be?
I would get rid of the whole notion of political correctness. Either something is wrong or it isn’t. Just because the majority says something is okay doesn’t mean it is okay. I think all lives matter, all races, religions, genders, and so forth. I think only God can judge who is right or wrong on those things. I also think that all lives matter, regardless of whether they are born or unborn.
I would stop entertainers and athletes from making personal statements, political or otherwise, while they are being paid to entertain or play their sport. What they say on their own time is protected speech. If I pay to see a singer sing, then that person should only sing, not make a political statement. If I go to see a ballgame, I am not going to hear what they have to say about politics, etc.
We do have freedom of speech in the USA. However, we have an obligation to provide people who pay to see us the service they are paying to see and not force them to listen to our personal agenda.
When I was in college, I had several professors who took it on themselves to speak about the “Christian myth”, as they called it, in each and every class period. If a Christian professor said, “bless you” when someone sneezed, there were problems. This isn’t right.

What Gave You A Reason To Smile This Past Week?
My beautiful child bride, Suzanne. She baked some pretty darn good brownies a couple of times so we could get multiple takes for our new YouTube channel, From the Kitchen of McClendon Villa. So far, we have three videos up. They are each easy to follow, simple to make, baking recipes. Check us out.

I can't see ever getting a tattoo. Why would I want to pay someone to poke me with a needle? I don't even want a doctor to do that. I still remember how much pain that girl was in that came into Anwar's. No, thank you!
