Gratitude Challenge

What talent or skill do you have that you are grateful for?

Very few people would count it as a talent, but I am grateful for my ability to clown around with the YouTube videos.  Being able to do these is one of the only things keeping me sane.  Perhaps we can get back to doing those soon.

I learned of this journalling challenge from Vanessa over at Vanessence.

Gratitude Challenge

What friend/family member are you grateful for today?

I am always grateful for Suzanne.  I am also grateful for each and everyone of our kids.  We get to have Laynie with us.  The others are off doing their own things, but they are very much a part of our lives.

This past week, we were treated to a visit from a friend, who is very much like a part of the family, and my aunt.  We are very grateful for both of them.

What small thing that happened today are you grateful for?

I am very much grateful for waking up.  It is good to be on this side of the dirt.

Gratitude Challenge

What small thing that you use daily are you grateful for?

Our cell phones and our computers are both small.  We use them daily.

Although our Bibles are physically small, they are huge in a very real sense.

Gratitude Challenge

What form of expression are you most grateful for?

I would have to say I am most grateful for laughter. It is always fun to laugh.  Blogging and YouTube are a form of expression, too.  They are always fun.

I have always enjoyed blogging with Suzanne sitting by my side at her computer sharing things with me.  Not being able to do that since we lost the one computer is kind of sad.  It is like a loss in a way.  Hopefully, we can get back to blogging side-by-side again soon.

Gratitude Challenge

What moment this week are you most grateful for?

This past week, I have been grateful for every moment we got to spend with two blessed family members.  There were some glitches in the giddyup but, overall, it was a great visit.  It just wasn’t long enough.  They never are.

Now, if one were to ask what moment I was least grateful for this past week, I would have to say a confrontation from someone I had not seen or spoken to in a long time.

The confrontation came from out of left field.  You know the situation when someone lays on you something they have had against you for many years when you had no clue the person had any reason to be angry.

We are told in the Bible, Mark 11:25, that if we have ought against anyone that we are to go to them and settle our problems first, otherwise our prayers will not be heard.

Of course, one must be a true believer before this makes any sense.
Matthew 5:23
Mark 11:24
