Cee's Fun Foto Challenge: Trains

Well, this challenge is right up my ally.  This week we are asked to share images of Trains, Tracks, Rail Tracks, anything to do with trains.  I am one adult male who loves trains.  I even still watch Thomas the Tank Engine because I love trains.

Every second year, we here in Wharton, Texas, are given a treat.  Kansas City Southern Railway, KCS, brings their Holiday Express train to our historic old depot.  This past year, 2015, was our year.  I made the video of this train (above) and this video has been one of our most popular videos.

Also, just about 30 or so miles away from here is the Rosenberg Railroad Museum.  This is a great place to visit and take the kids. I am including the video for this museum here.

Would you please help us make it to 1,000?  One thousand what, you might ask.  We have a goal of having 1,000 subscribers on YouTube.  Could you please help us?

Please watch a few of our videos and, if you like them, please subscribe.  And then, if you would please, share our channel with all your friends/followers or whatever.

Kansas City Southern Railroad Holiday Express 2015

Christmas Train 2015

Wharton, Texas

The citizens of the City of Wharton, Texas, are very privileged. Every other year, Kansas City SouthernRailroad brings their Christmas Train, the Holiday Express to town.
The train is decorated for Christmas and is the highlight of the Christmas season for many of the local kids and kids at heart like myself.

The train is an old-time Steam Locomotive.  During the visit, spectators are able to see the train puffing its steam while Christmas carols play over the sound system.  The train is a sight to behold.

The accompanying video gives a quick glimpse of the wonderful Christmas present presented to the residents and visitors of Wharton, Texas
.

Merry Christmas to all of our readers/viewers.
