Word High July for 22 July 2016 Word makisig

Click here to learn more about this blogging challenge.
Suzanne and her Daddy

Today’s word is makisig, which means dashing, well-dressed, gorgeous.  This word brings to mind the people like Clark Gable from the old classic movie.  The gorgeous part brings to mind my beautiful child-bride Suzanne.  She would look well-dressed or gorgeous in a flour sack.

Here in Gulf Coast Texas, it is so blasted hot that most people go for cool clothing rather than worry about being well-dressed.  Even on Sunday mornings at church you are highly likely to see church goers in shorts and a T-shirt rather than a suit and tie, including many preachers.

Please visit my Child-Bride, Suzanne.

This August 18th, in honor of my child-bride Suzanne’s birthday, we will be giving all of our books away free.  Please download and read these books.  We have had to change the way we make money here since I suffered three strokes back in May.   We no longer sell Avon door-to door, but you can still buy it on our website at https://smcclendon.avonrepresentative.com.  You can also help us by purchasing things from our Etsy store.

Special Notice

You can help us by downloading our books free.  Then, read them.  Every quarter, Amazon has a contest to determine which 100 authors in the United States have the most pages read.  If we make it into the top 100, we will share a part in a pool of money Amazon sets aside for the top 100 authors.

Please also give us feedback on our books and leave your honest review at Amazon.  We thank you.

    1. Thank you, Davy. Actually, we are both in love, but much of the look on Suzanne's face comes from intense pain. She fell down a flight of concrete stairs on the way to the rehearsal. She was in pain much of the honeymoon. It was not until we got to Asheville, North Carolina, that she was starting to feel a little better.

    1. Thank you. We are very proud of our son. Proud of both of them, actually. When he was in basic training, he was getting hassled by his group because his older brother is Navy. He said, "Well, he outranks everyone here, up to and including the First Sargent." He is proud of his big brother.
