Today’s word is habilin. This word means anything given to somepony for safekeeping. When our youngest son went off to the military, he left a few of his childhood memories with us. Among these are soldier, a stuffed soldier from his childhood, and Dottie, a stuffed elf. We also have custody of his stuffed lion, Leo.

These three things are icons to us of his past. They are in our safekeeping. We hope we are up to the task.
