Word High July for 21 July 2016 Word amihan

Click here to learn more about this blogging challenge.

Today’s word is amihan.  This word means Northeast wind, breeze.  Here on the Gulf Coast of Texas, it is always windy.  Often people say a Northeast wind will cool things off a bit.  There is no such thing as cool in Texas.  We have four seasons; hot, dang hot, too hot, and the devil called and wants his heat back.

A cool breeze is always welcome here.

I hope you are enjoying these posts.  If you are, how about following this blog and let me know what is on your mind in the comments.

Please visit my Child-Bride, Suzanne.

This August 18th, in honor of my child-bride Suzanne’s birthday, we will be giving all of our books away free.  Please download and read these books.  We have had to change the way we make money here since I suffered three strokes back in May.   We no longer sell Avon door-to door, but you can still buy it on our website at https://smcclendon.avonrepresentative.com.  You can also help us by purchasing things from our Etsy store.

Special Notice

You can help us by downloading our books free.  Then, read them.  Every quarter, Amazon has a contest to determine which 100 authors in the United States have the most pages read.  If we make it into the top 100, we will share a part in a pool of money Amazon sets aside for the top 100 authors.

Please also give us feedback on our books and leave your honest review at Amazon.  We thank you.

    1. Cute, Davey. As some Irish people say, "It is a nice, soft, morning." We are in "Fire Weather" here. That means that conditions are right, hot and dry, for wild fires. Hope we don't get them.

    1. I think we all get weather extremes that seem bad to us. When we first moved here, we had a 70 degree day. We saw people dressed in heavy fur coats, hats, gloves, heavy boots, and SHORTS. Like their legs did not get cold. It was 70 degrees. We were comfortable, but most of these people were freezing.
