September 19 Somethin’ Challenge Day 28

Well ladies and gentlemen, here we are.  We have just a few days left of this fun challenge.  Hopefully, we have all gotten to know one another a little better.  Is there anything that stands out in your mind that you learned about your fellow bloggers?

Today’s question is:

When did you go on your first date? What did you do? Where did you go? Did you go out on another date with that person?

My very first date of any real kind was taking a girl to the band banquet.  The band bought about 8,000 boxes of chicken from Church’s Chicken.  I had to go and get it.  Then, after I dropped off the chicken, I went to pick up my date.  She was a girl I knew from school.

The car and I smelled like chicken the whole night. We never went out again.  This was during my sophomore year at school, so I was about 15 at the time.
