Share Your World – 2016 Week 46

Are you a traveler or a homebody?

I prefer to stay home.  It is just easier.  There are too many people out there who grew up in Stupidville, USA.

We have people who turn right on red here.  That isn’t stupid.  However, turning right on red from the left hand turn lane across four lanes of traffic is stupid.

What kind of TV commercial would you like to make? Describe it.

This is something I never really thought about.  If I were to make a commercial, it would probably be for my YouTube channel.  Since we are making this up anyway, maybe it would start out with me rappin’ and end up with me break dancing.   In reality, if I were to do any kind of dance right now, it would be break dancing.  I would break everything in my body.

Describe yourself in a word that starts with the first letter of your name.

Let’s see. My first name is David , so the letter D would be the one I use.
Dashing, Delightful, Debonair, Daring, Dapper, Dramatic all start with D.  But, they don’t describe me.

Maybe Daffy, Drama King, Drip, Doofus, those might come closer.
List some fun things for a rainy day.

Watching an old movie while eating popcorn.  Working on the computer, listening to records (that goes way back.)

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am thankful for one more week on this side of the dirt.  I am thankful that we got news that the ulcer on the bottom of my foot is closed.  I am thankful for my beautiful child-bride Suzanne.

Not this week, but next week, I get the cast off.  I get fitted for a special boot called a CROW boot.  The next day we get to go get our baby from off the island and bring her home for a few days.

In January, the good Lord willin’, our youngest son gets rotated back to the United States.  He will still be a long drive away; maybe we can see him more often though.

Have a great week.

  2. Rapping and break-dancing? I'd pay to see that! :D And now with your foot all healed you're ready!

    1. I have a feeling that my break dancing would go about as well as my rollerskating in days gone by. If you have ever seen Goofy trying to skate, you know how I skate, too. That is really the way I look skating, and just walking these days, with no exaggeration at all.
