We were given a copy of Minimalism: Benefits of Minimalism: Abundant Life, Less Stress, More Time, More Money without cost or obligation so that we might review it.
Minimalism: Benefits of Minimalism: Abundant Life, Less Stress, More Time, More Money is a fairly quick read. I finished it in one sitting. I did take a break or two.
This book is designed to point out the benefits of reducing clutter in the reader’s life and gives the reader a 30-day plan for how to declutter their living space and find rest and contentment from having a less cluttered lifestyle.
This is not a book on organization. One is not told to thank each item before discarding it. The reader is told what to do. The thirty day plan is not a step-by-step how to guide. In truth, that would be just plain boring. Instead the 30-day plan instructs the reader on the big picture. The details are left to the individual.
Reading this book won’t make you want to organize. Only you can do that. What it will do is help the reader to set a plan and follow it.
