Share Your World – 2016 Week 49

What do you value most in a friendship?

I think honesty and integrity are the most important things a friend needs to have.  You need a friend to tell you upfront when you are being stupid.  You also need to know that a friend will be there always.

Suzanne is my best friend.  She has all the traits that a friend needs to have.
Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cake or the cupcake first?  Do you prefer a specific flavor?

I like to try to get a little bit of both on the first bite.  This way, I get to enjoy the flavors together.
Have you ever been in a submarine?  If you haven’t, would you want to?

I have been on an old World War II submarine when I was a kid.  It did not go underwater or even leave the dock.

Today, I have no business being on a submarine.  Our oldest son is in the Navy

and he is stationed on a submarine.  I could not do that.  I just plain could not. 
If 100 people your age were chosen at random, how many do you think you’d find leading a more satisfying life than yours?

I don’t think anyone could be more blessed than me.  I have Jesus.  I have Suzanne.  I have the kids.  That is all anyone could ever hope for.  I cannot imagine it getting any better than that.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? 

Well, I got that cast off my leg today.  This is a great thing.  I am grateful for one more day on this side of the dirt.  I am also grateful for my wife and kids.
