The smell of pine. This reminds me of Christmases long ago. I remember the smell of a live Christmas tree. Family would come from far away to visit. It was great.
What type of pet do you have or want to have?
We really don’t have a pet. We have our grand-dogger Petra. She belongs to our oldest daughter. We have three cats who live outside. They were born in the carport. They really are not our cats, but we feed them anyway.
Are you usually late, early, or right on time?
We try to be early for anything we can. There are too many things that can cause us a setback which may make us late. We tend to leave early to get anywhere just in case of traffic or other delays.
For recharging, would you rather meditate, swim, walk, listen to music, write, read, yoga, qigong other?
The only thing I know to do to recharge is pray. We serve an awesome God. He helps calm those parts that need to be calmed. He gives us rest when we need it.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Right now, it is very hard to use the word grateful. We just learned that Suzanne has cataracts in both eyes. For most people this would be bad, but not devastating. For us it is devastating because we have no insurance for Suzanne. There is no way to pay for the surgery.
Suzanne enjoys photography. She also enjoys knitting and crochet. She loves to conduct genealogy research.
As we were waiting for the dilation medicine to wear off, we walked through the Walmart. Well, she walked, I rode. She noticed a banner that said, "Be still and know that I am God". Psalm 46:10
We have set up a GoFundMe account to help raise the money needed to help her have this surgery. Please help if you can. Please add Suzanne to your prayer lists. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteI, too, am suffering with cataracts, and will have to pay for my surgery. It's always something, isn't it? I will pray for your wife, and for God to provide the necessary funds for the surgery. It's no fun not being able to see!

Thank you for stopping by and commenting. You are right, it is no fun not being able to see. Couple that with being a photographer and fiber artist and it makes life difficult. We hope you will be okay, too.
