1. My middle name is Eric
I don’t know where my mom got my name.
2. I try to avoid surprises.
Even a good surprise could be problematic. Like if someone you love comes into town unexpectedly. Had you known, you could have rearranged your schedule in advance. Since you did not know, you might not be able to spend the time you would like with your loved one.
3. The Super Bowl is overrated.
This year the Super Bowl will be right here in Houston, Texas. They tell me that ticket prices are at a historic low. You can gobble up the upper deck cheap seats for a mere $2,700 each. That is more than what we get in two months.
No way would I pay that much to sit in the rain (it is supposed to rain this weekend) with thousands of drunk, screaming fans. Then, we would have to pay outrageous prices for food and drinks. To top all of that off, we would have to wait in line to pee.
The halftime shows are full of naked people. Who wants to see that?
4. My favorite sport is sleeping.
I don’t enjoy playing any sport. I like to swim, but have not done so in many years. The only sport I like to watch is college football if South Carolina, Clemson, or Georgia are playing. Baseball is like watching paint dry. We did enjoy watching the University of South Carolina in the college world series a few years ago.
Well, that’s a wrap. Suzanne and I have been very busy helping a friend with a project. If all goes well, we will be done on the 23rd. It has been hectic so far. At least we have a little more help than we thought we would have.
Keep us in your prayers.

Sleeping sounds like a good sport to me. :)
ReplyDeleteI am all for it. I just wish we could do it. Zing! Zing!
DeleteYou remain in our prayers & good answers.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteGreat answers, I am glad you still had time to join despite your other commitment. If napping were a sport, I would be #1 :) I completely agree that the Superbowl is overrated and the half time shows are full of naked people. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you for dropping by and commenting. I am beginning to think we have bitten off more than we want to chew with this project. Have a great week.
DeleteYes, I am definitely not looking forward to the Super Bowl half time show. The prices to actually go are outrageous! My cats' favorite sport is the same as yours!
ReplyDeleteIt has already gotten crazy around here and we are over 60 miles away. Have a great week.
DeleteSeems not many like surprises or sports. I am in agreement about the Super Bowl.
ReplyDeleteThere is too much bad about it to make it good in my book.
DeleteEnjoyed your responses. Had to chuckle about Baseball being like watching Paint Dry - That's how I feel about a Tennis Match.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting. I have never actively watched a tennis match. I have no interest in doing so. I have seen a few minutes of them here and there. Have a great week.
DeleteI think the average person could not afford things like Super Bowl tickets. I don't know many people who could; I sure can't! I am glad things are going well for your friend. They are blessed to have helpers!
