Recently we were sent a myCharge HubPlus portable charger free of charge or obligation so that we might review it on our blog.
We put this little charger through an ultimate test. It came just in time for us to put it through a major challenge. We were asked to help a friend. This meant that we would be at his place of business anywhere from nine to eleven plus hours at a time.
Due to the nature of his building and his heavy demand for electricity, he has multiple surge protectors plugged into outlets and chained together. There simply was not an available outlet that was not already overloaded.
This is where the myCharge HubPlus came in so handy. We had some time to kill while we were helping with his business so we took our Kindle ereaders with us. We also had an iPhone 5 and an older flip phone along with a Bayer Contour Next blood glucose monitor. All needed to be charged along the way.
The myCharge HubPlus was able to provide for our month of charging needs without ever running completely out of charge.
We would charge it at night using the attached AC prongs. Throughout the day, it provided for our charging needs. This device allows the user to charge an iPhone using the attached lightning cable as well as a Kindle or older phone using the attached micro USB cable. It also has a USB port so that almost any device that has a USB charging cable can be charged.
The device even comes pre-charged so it is ready to go when you take it out of the box.
We were very impressed by the small size of this charger and how well it worked. We have discussed buying this product to give to our kids.
