Here are the fill-ins:
1. As a child, my favorite playground activity was ball.
When we played ball, it did not matter what the game was supposed to be, football, dodge ball, etc., the rules changed to be jump on whoever has the ball. There were no real teams and there were no rules. Just jump on who has the ball and beat the snot out of him. Girls did not play this game.
2. For breakfast, I have whatever Suzanne fixes.
If I were eating a traditional breakfast, it would have grits, scrambled eggs, bacon, and coffee. But, we don’t stand on tradition here. We eat whatever. It might be peanut butter crackers. It could be a sandwich. Just whatever
3. An instrument I would like to play is the bagpipes .
My ancestors came from Scotland and Ireland. Both places have a heavy tradition with the bagpipes. There is something powerful and awesome in the bagpipes. I used to play the piano, trumpet, and tuba. But, I doubt I could even figure out which end to blow into on the piano now.
4. I always try to use the restroom when I have the opportunity , because I am a diabetic and know that when you really need one, it ain’t there.
This is one reason we try to stay home. When we go out, the restrooms are often a good ways from where we are.
Well, folks, Praise God! Suzanne may have found a way for us to have PowerPoint back. It looks like she found a way to replace our PowerPoint, at least temporarily.

Much of my heritage is English, Welsh, Irish, and Scots. I love the sound of the bagpipes.
ReplyDeleteTake care of You. Thanks for playing along with the Fill-Ins.
Amazing Grace played on the bagpipes is one of those songs that always brings tears to the eyes. Have a great week.
DeleteI could never eat a traditional English breakfast in the morning ! For me it would be like a lunch ! Mostly I only have a cup of coffee and we eat sandwiches at noon.
ReplyDeleteI really don't know what a traditional English breakfast would be. Around here, biscuits and gravy, ham, eggs, bacon, grits, sausage, juice, and coffee are all breakfast foods. You would not typically eat all of that at one meal. Have a great day.
DeleteI hope this whole PowerPoint thing works out for a good, long time. It is great to see you smile and happy again. I love you, my Zing. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you my Zing. It does make me happy. Thank you for working so hard to find it. Zing! Zing!
DeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Being that you have a background in music, I bet you would learn the bagpipes quickly. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteAs loud as they are, I am sure our neighbors would prefer I did not try.
DeleteI rarely have a full traditional breakfast. Just something quick. Bagpipes are lovely. Hope you are enjoying the weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe live such a different life. We eat different things and don't really know which meal it is. Have a great day.
