Gratitude Challenge

What knowledge are you grateful for?

I am truly grateful for knowing Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Saviour.  

I am also grateful for the bits of knowledge I have that have been valuable to our friends.  I don’t hang out a shingle to let people know I have a degree in accounting.  However, somehow God placed it in the mind of a friend of ours that she should call me when she found herself in a serious jam with the IRS.  This was not of her doing.  I do a small handful of tax returns every year.  So far it has never been more than five.  I don’t charge for it because I am not a professional.  However, I was able to help her out of a jam and now she tells everyone I am her “Tax Man”.  She also introduced me as her son once.  This was funny because she is black and I am as white as a cue ball.  It is also funny because I am a few years older than her.
