This meme is called 2017 September's Where I Come From Challenge
This challenge is based on Kenny Chesney's song "Back Where I Come From". Suzanne over at PS-Annie! and McClendon villa has included home-and hometown-related questions to round out our 30 days of posts.
Come on and join in. It will be a blast.
Today’s question is:
9. Do you plan to move back to your hometown area in your older years? Why or why not?
We have no specific plans. If we were to come up with the money, we would move out to the boonies. We just need a small house, space for a garden, and a little land. Where is not important, but I would like some place where we actually got a fall. I miss the leaves.
The old saying, “You can never go home” is true. So much has changed. Old ones die and new are born. The hometown we left years ago is not the same today.

I can't imagine living somewhere that doesn't have a true fall with the gorgeous colors.
ReplyDeleteIt is a real bummer. I miss the good fall mountain apples we used to get back in South Carolina. Apples don't taste as good here. Have a great week.
