This book, The King of Too Many Things by Laurel Snyder and illustrated by Aurore Damant, is a very cute story.  

It is sort of on the line of The King, The Mice, and The Cheese.  One solution leads to more problems.

The book is an easy read for most young readers.  It is very colorfully illustrated and should be enjoyable for all young readers.
