Here are the fill-ins:
1. When I am nervous, I try to take slow, deep breaths.
I try to practice a little meditation when I am nervous about something.
2. When I an angry, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind.
I tend to speak up very clearly when I am angry. Usually people think I am yelling. This is not true, I am simply stating my displeasure at the situation at a volume that will be heard by all (or at least by all in the next several counties).
Once, when my medications were not being administered properly at the hospital, I spoke at a volume that brought the pharmacist to my room along with a few people from administration. This was several years ago.
3. Today, I know for sure God is on His Throne.
We recently received notice that the State of Texas was not going to pay my Medicare Part B premium anymore and that our income would be drastically reduced.
Today, someone from the state called in answer to a letter I had written and told me they were going to get it fixed. God is good.
4. For St. Patrick’s day, I will wear green, of course.
I tried to write that in green but it could not be seen. It is easy for me to make sure I wear green because I almost always wear green. We are Irish. If I could find the wall anchors and the flag, we would fly our Irish flag outside.
If we have to go to the store again before then, we will pick up some corned beef and cabbage. However, that is NOT the original Irish meal.
As we are told, if we were to celebrate in typical Irish style, we would have boiled potatoes and boiled bacon. I don’t know about boiling bacon. Maybe we could bake some in the oven or fry it.
If we don’t make it to the store, we will probably have spaghetti for Spaghetterday.
As you are all aware, there are three special days per week. Taco Tuesday, Wiener Wednesday, and Spaghetterday Saturday.
We try to celebrate at least one of those. Some lucky people celebrate Bacon Day on Saturday.
Well, that is about all the damage I can do for this week. Have a great week.

ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you got a call from the state and your insurance will be covered. I don't own any green clothes, I guess I am going to get pinched. I thought Wednesday was spaghetti day? :)
ReplyDeleteI try to restrain my anger if I can, though I might have do some some deep breathing if I get too stressed over something.
