The Questions and the Answers

1. What's a word that describes your life? A word you wish described your life?
To describe me I would say, impatient.  I don’t like to wait for anything or anybody.  How I wish I was intelligent. I sometimes have a few smarts, but I sometimes do dumb things.  There are times I have had to make short-term decisions that I knew were bad in the long-term.

2. Back in my day we respected our elders?

When a parent or in-law told us something, we listened.  We might not do what they said. We might not have agreed with them.  However, we did listen to what they had to say and considered it in our hearts.

3. When it comes to takeout are you more likely to opt for Italian, Mexican, or Chinese food? Does a typical week at your house include takeout?
None of the above.  If we have takeout it is most likely Southern as in Kentucky Fried Chicken.  We might go to Burger King or Sonic. Of the above, Italian/Chinese because we like to get pizza.  As I understand it, Pizza comes from both Italy and China. I don’t know this to be true, but I have heard it.

4. Think about the people you most respect. What is it about them that earned your respect?

Of course God/Jesus.  But as far as humans go, Ronald Reagan.  Why? He was a man who knew what he stood for.  He was not afraid to stand up for his beliefs. When he saw that he was wrong on abortion, he changed his mind.

As far as our economy is concerned, Reaganomics worked.  Supply side economics always works UNTIL it works so well that people get greedy.  The Clinton era had great economic success because the country was still riding the waves from Reaganomics.  The problem there was no one could have kept the boat afloat after Clinton robbed the different funds like Social Security.

Ronald Reagan walked the walk and talked the talk.  He believed that abortion was/is wrong and he lived it.  We are told now that abortion should stay legal because they would still be performed only in unsafe ways.  Read the book Gosnell and see how well that is working out.  It was written by two pro-choice authors by the way.

5. What's something your friends might see and say is 'so you'?

Anything goofy.  If you see Goofy try to ski, that is me.  If you see him try to roller skate, that is me.

6.  Insert your own random thought here.

I am so tired of “Head Games” I could scream.  Lately we have seen several people try to play head games on those we love and care about.  People in their lives talk a good talk while behaving otherwise.

I would like to ask all our readers to weigh in on a discussion I am having with a friend.  You can read it at What Do You Think.
