Here are the fill-ins:

1. New books are always a treat.

We get new books here all the time.  It is fun to see when Suzanne goes to the mailbox what she brings back.  We enjoy books so much we even put up a larger mailbox a while back just so there was more room for them.  We still have tens of thousands of books to be read on Kindle along with stacks of them around here. I try to get through them as quickly as possible.  Right now I am reading about the Mayflower and the early colonies.  I learn a lot from these books. I hope to finish the Mayflower book later today.

2. I love to read on the subject of psychology.

We get a lot of “Pop Psych” books here.  I like to read a lot about NLP, hypnosis, subliminal messages, and more.  The more I learn, the more I realize there is a lot more to the mind than we can imagine.

3. When I was a child, I loved to play alone.

I can be an extrovert at times.  However, when I was between five and eight, we lived in a neighborhood where I was the only male my age.  I learned to play by myself. However, we had some really nice neighbors. There were three girls. Two of these girls were close to my age and the youngest one was about five years younger than me, the same age as my brother.

It was actually fun to play with Dawn and Sage.  The youngest sister was named Heather. They were from up north.  We lived in Norcross, GA. Norcross is a suburb of Atlanta. These girls were not too icky.  To a six year old boy, most girls are icky. We had fun. They talked normal, but their mother would say things like “Get in tha ka.”  The only Ka I ever knew was the snake from Jungle Book.

4. One day, I might get caught up on my reading.

That is a lofty goal, I know.  But, I try to read an average of one book per day.  The Mayflower book has me slowed down a little bit.  It has a lot of interesting information that I did not know.  I know, some people think I am a polymath. But, believe it or not, I did not even know what that meant until I read it in the Mayflower book and Suzanne looked it up for me.

I did not know there was a time when there was not a king or queen of England.  This has been an interesting book.

    1. Martha is a cute kitty. We get lots of books, that is true. Most are interesting. We read them as fast as we can. Suzanne can put you in touch with some of the publicists. The way to get started is to review books you already have. After a while, people come to you to ask you to read and review their books. We enjoy it. We had to look polymath up, too. { = < ) > Have a great week.

  2. I wish that I could read as fast, and as much, as you do. Maybe I ought to give you the nickname "Zip" since you zip right through them. :) I love you, my Zing.

    1. I love you, too. You are my Zing! I can read so much because you do all the work around here. You do the cooking, cleaning, email sorting, driving, and everything else. I sit on my brains and read. I love you, my Zing!
