Here are the fill-ins:
1. I spend too many hours per day online.
We use the internet to blog about books and other things we want to share. I don’t go on facebook anymore, so I don’t spend time there. I do take care of banking online. In reality, I spend most of my time reading. Suzanne won’t let me do much else because I am not stable on my feet anymore.
2. When I go online, I use my Google Chrome Browser.
This computer has Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. In the past, we have used Netscape and Seamonkey. If I was still creating web pages, I would put Seamonkey back on this computer.
3. Mother’s Day brings back memories.
We celebrated Moogie’s (Suzanne’s) first Mother’s Day with our oldest still waiting to be born. I bought her red roses. The next Mother’s Day, we celebrated by dedicating Jared in the church along with several other babies. Very sadly, that was the last time my father stood in church. The following Friday my father’s casket laid exactly where we had stood during the dedication.
4. I wish I could go back in time and right all the wrongs I have made.
Shortly after Suzanne and I met, her best friend approached me at a football game and we talked about Suzanne. I did a stupid, as our kids say. This stupid hurt Suzanne’s feelings really bad. I was trying to be goofy and only the really stupid part made it back to Suzanne.
Our daughter Maggie has a new blog for her furbaby Martha. You can find it at:

Yeah, that Suz is a bossy little general, ain't she?
ReplyDeleteI love you, my Zing. :)
Aw, she's alright. I love you, too, my Zing!
DeleteThank you for participating, great answers. I had never heard of a seamonkey browser, I use firefox. I am sorry your Father didn't live to meet all his grandbabies. I hope you have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteActually, you have. You just did not know it. You see, Mozilla is a research organization that has been creating free browsers for years. It has been called NetScape and the newest not experimental browser is called (drum roll please) FireFox. You can find the project here .
DeleteFantastic fill-ins! Our answer to #1 is identical. I sometimes get lost web surfing. I am also a Google Chrome fan. I used to live by Firefox, but it started to slow down my computer, for whatever reason, so Chrome is now my go-to. You are so right in that Mother's Day brings back memories, both the happy and the sad. And I agree that it would be wonderful to be able to go back and right wrongs. I believe that everything happens for a reason, but I also sometimes think that being able to redo parts of our past would have its benefits. Have a wonderful Friday!
ReplyDeleteYes, everything does happen for a reason. In many cases, if we did not "Do the stupid" we would have missed other opportunities.
DeleteSuch a profound and sad memory for the time around Mother’s Day. If i had time to spare, i would love to spend it reading, although even too much of that good thing gets to be overwhelming, i am sure.
ReplyDeleteFor me, reading is pretty much all I can do. I have to sit and stay off my foot to help it heal.
