Here are the fill-ins:
1. I have faith in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
There really isn’t anything else we can count on 100%. If you have God, you have it all anyway.
2. Yesterday, I sat in my chair and read books.
With my foot being so bad, there really isn’t much more I can do. From time to time we have to go someplace, but this is pretty much it for me.
3. My favorite place to be is out in the middle of nowhere.
There are so many places out in nature that are wonderful to be. I love peaceful water. One really great place we haven’t been to in a long time is in Edisto, South Carolina. We used to have family reunions along the Edisto River. This river was like a picture postcard with the Spanish moss and meandering river. It was a very pleasant place to be.
4. If I was granted one wish, it would be a life do over.
We hear, “If I knew then what I know now…” and think wouldn’t it be great to go back and know what we know now and fix it. If there were do overs, we might could get it right. Of course, we might just get it different wrong. Perhaps the wrong things is what makes us what we are. If we learn from our mistakes, I must be the smartest person in history.

In your chair is a good place for you to be, at least until your foot is 100% better. Maybe even after that. I love you, my Zing. :)

ReplyDeleteAmen to #1! We love the feeling of being away from the crowd too. And since we have big windows, we can watch the wildlife outside and stay quite comfy inside.
