Here are the fill-ins:
1. I am going to sit right here and read more books.
I am really kind of behind schedule on reading books. Some just seem to take longer than others.

2. I want to be more intuitive.
Some people just seem to know what is going to happen before it happens. I have never been that way. Suzanne can tell when someone is pregnant, sometimes before they know.
There was a point where the young ladies at our church would run when they saw Suzanne coming towards them. She would tell them she dreamed they were pregnant and what sex the baby was. She was ALWAYS right.
3. Once in a blue moon, I find a fiction book I really like.
I don’t generally like fiction, but from time-to-time we are sent one that is outstanding. A recent book I read, Purge on the Potomac, was outstanding. The funny thing is the author, David Thomas Roberts, has the same last name as my maternal grandfather, Roberts. One of the main characters goes to a ranch in Shiner, Texas. The description in the book is pretty close to the Roberts Ranch in Shiner, Texas. It is highly unlikely that the author knows about this ranch stuck out in the middle of nowhere on very rough road.

4. I have a large collection of dolls.
It isn’t really all that large, less than ten, but it is large for a male redneck. We sold dolls on the Internet back in the 90s. We didn’t do too great with that. My mother has hundreds of dolls in her house. I don’t think there is a single room in her house that does not have at least one doll, even the bathrooms.

Your mama does have a zillion dolls. Just imagine all those eyes watching you while you're trying to sleep!
ReplyDeleteI love you, my Zing. :)
sounds scary. I love you, my Zing!
DeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I rarely enjoy fiction too, but there are a few good ones. That is cool about Suzanne knowing if someone was pregnant. I have never liked dolls, I gave the few I had to the dog :) Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne often gets dreams about women she knows. She sees that they are pregnant and what sex the baby is. Dolls can be fun, but not in mass quantities. Have a blessed week.
DeleteI would love to read all day, every day and not have to deal with all the tasks of RL. Hope you get all of your reading done and you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteOne of these days I will get caught up. Suzanne does all the real work around here. I just read, make videos, eat, and sleep. Have a blessed week.
DeleteThank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I think taking time to read is one of the best things you can do. And my grandmother sounds a lot like your mom. My grandma has dolls in nearly every room of her house. She has china cabinets filled with them. I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhen we were growing up, my mom bought dolls for my sister. Now most of those dolls are in Nana's collection. Have a blessed week.
DeleteI'm always trying to make more time for reading. It's not always easy, but my preference is fiction. I have a doll collection too. My mother got me started on it. Hope you have a great week!
