Here are the fill-ins:
1. For Halloween, I want to be Count Chocula.
He only has to work one day a year and his cereal is pretty good, too.
The only bad thing about his cereal is that it is made with GMOs. This means the plants are grown with RoundUp, and herbicide, grown into it. This can kill your brain.
2. Suzanne makes me feel like royalty.
She treats me like a king. She cooks my food, washes my clothes, and more. She even raised our four living kids. All of our kids were girls, except for two of them.
3. On a dark and stormy night, I love to have a hot cup of hot chocolate and tell ghost stories.
Ghost stories were easier back in South Carolina. We lived just a few miles from Crybaby Bridge and we lived directly across the street from a cemetery. It was fun.
4. If I had a witch’s cauldron, I would stir up a potion for giving the world some smarts.
Let’s face it, we have some people out there who should not be out walking around by themselves. We have people who don’t see anything wrong with munching on a Tide Pod. There are people who don’t see anything wrong with setting chemicals on fire and inhaling them on purpose. These people are the reason why we have warnings on top of to go cups that say “Warning, Coffee May Be Hot.” That is what I wanted.
It really takes a higher level of stupid for someone to leave a gas can in their vehicle while they pump gas into it. This same higher level of stupid person thinks it is okay to puff on a cigarette while pumping the gas. I have actually said to people who were pumping gas while smoking that what they were doing took a higher level of stupid. They just laughed and blew it off.
This week’s From the Kitchen of McClendon Villa is Ghosts in the Graveyard. Next week, we have Gremlin Guts scheduled. Don’t worry, Joanie, Gremmie is safe. No actual gremlins are harmed in the making of gremlin guts. It is just a cute name for party punch.

Adding some smarts to the world is definitely a good idea. We have a proverb in Germany in which ask God to let some brain rain from heaven, but it doesn't seem to work his way...

ReplyDeleteGhost stories around a campfire is so much fun. You really can't fix stupid. I'm constantly amazed at the things people say and do. Getting out of their car to film themselves dancing comes to mind. Haha!
