For this week’s Throwback Thursday, I would like to take you back once again to Wallis, Texas. Wallis, Texas is named for some of my ancestors on my maternal grandfather’s side of the family.

This week, I would like to share some pictures of one of the town’s early fire engines.
This fire engine is on display right beside a train track. This would be heaven for a little boy, even if that little boy is trapped inside a 54 year old redneck.

Up until we had the children's home and someone donated two classic cars, I did not realize that there are so few of them that last up north. Evidently, the salt on the road really does a number on them. We who live in the South are so blessed. Heaven will really have to be great to be better than the Southeastern United States in the fall. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for all the nice comments.
