Here are the fill-in-the-blanks:
1. The highlight of my Christmas was having both of our girls home and being able to Skype with our Marine.
We get so few opportunities to be together as a family. Seeing our sailor seems to be too much to ask.
2. My New Year's resolution is several.
This year I resolve to save every cent we can so that we can afford Suzanne’s surgery; to eat less salt and fat; and to lose some weight and get in shape.
3. This year, 2016 was not one of our better years.,.
This year I had three strokes. Suzanne was diagnosed with cataracts and needs surgery. We have had problems with our neighbors. We did not actually get to see our Marine all year.
4. Next year, 2017, will be better._.
2017 promises to be a much better year. We are praying that things will be much better.
A Special Notice: I have recently started a mirror of How to Manage Your Monkey on WordPress. You can find the new site at: https://howtomanageyourmonkey.wordpress.com The posts are exactly the same as those on the blogspot site.
Please join us there if you like. Suzanne has also started a PS-Annie! #2 blog at https://psannie2.wordpress.com Please join her there. The plan for PS Annie#2 is to focus on genealogy and family history. She will continue to post both genealogy/family history as well as weekly means on the original PS Annie! http://ps-annie.blogspot.com/

As always, this blog, Random Thoughts and Observations will post the How to Manage Your Monkey posts.
Also, if you would please, help us continue to promote the GoFundMe for Suzanne. We started off strong, but things have kind of dwindled. We are hoping things will pick up after the New Year. Please put this on you blog or other social media. We have had a few donations come in via PayPal. That is great, too.
A special thank you to our hostesses for hosting this meme.
We would like to wish all of our friends and readers/viewers a Happy New Year. If you would like for me to pray for you, please drop me an e-mail by clicking prayer.

I hear you on the losing weight and eating better. On the one hand, I'm all for it. On the other, I figure with everything falling apart on me, I may as well fall apart with a rib eye and a cheesecake and shrimp on my breath and in my belly. :)
ReplyDeleteLove you, my Zing!
I hear you, baby. I love you. Zing! Zing!

DeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I hope you have a happy and healthy 2017! We are going to try to eat better too, I have been getting books from the library on healthy eating, but they are so conflicting.
ReplyDeleteYep. Everybody seems to have a better way. Cuz beat cancer with a macrobiotic diet. We try to get close, but it is not easy to do that.
DeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your family, as well.
DeleteMy dad had 4 small strokes within less than two years. He's had both carotid arteries cleaned out with the hope that takes care of things. They certainly are scary.
ReplyDeleteWe are TRYING to eat a little more healthy here. Hope all goes well for your father. Have a Happy New Year.
