Juicing is the latest thing in nutrition. We researched high and low to find a juicer that would actually work. We wanted to make vegetable smoothies at home using fresh ingredients that we could get locally.
The problem was everything we tried just didn’t work. We burned up a blender that was supposed to be able to act as a juicer. Then, one of our friends, Cee, reviewed the Nutri Bulleton her blog. We thought she would not endorse it if it was not good. We bought one.
We could not be happier. It does everything we need a juicer to do. It makes great smoothies and we even made an avocado dressing for our salad.
We can put whole fruits, including the skins, seeds, and all into the Nutri Bullet and the results are an amazing smoothie. There does not seem to be any end to what we can do with the Magic Bullet Nutri Bullet Pro.
We both suffer from health issues. The best way to deal with some of these is to use fresh, natural ingredients and not processed, mass produced products.
Yes, I do press the elevator button more than once. If that blasted thing does not light up, I might press it repeatedly.
Most of you reading this will probably not remember the days when elevators had elevator operators. There were still a few around when I was a young teenager. Our local Belk store had one.
For those old elevators, pushing the button made a buzzer buzz in the elevator car. A light on the panel would flash.
Do I really feel that pushing it more than once helps? No, but it makes me feel like I am doing something to hurry things along.
In our town, there are only two sets of public elevators. One is at the hospital that is now closed. The other is at the medical clinic. That one goes a whopping 2 floors.
Our daughter has been trapped inside several elevators. Due to claustrophobia, we almost never use elevators.
Do you plan out things usually or do you do them more spontaneous (for example if you are visiting a big city you don’t know?)
There is kind of a mix of both. Sometimes I just relax and let it happen. The only big city we visit is Houston. When we go there we have a specific place to be. We go straight there, along with some pre-planned potty stops. Once there, we go directly to the place we have to go. Then, we get out of Houston as quickly as we can.
For projects, we typically have a plan. We know what we need to do and try to do it.
Describe yourself in at least four uplifting words.
Outspoken, confident, thoughtful (sometimes), lucky.
When need be, I will talk your ears off. If I am going to do something I am used to, I am confident of the outcome. I try to think things through most of the time. I am lucky in that I have the greatest wife in the world.
If you had a choice which would be your preference salt water beaches, fresh water lakes, ocean cruise, hot tub, ski resort or desert?
Since I nearly died at North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, I have a phobia about beaches. I see too often where there are problems about cruise ships, so that one is out. I promised God I would never get on another pair of skis again if He got me down the mountain, so I won’t tempt fate.
I would not mind the desert I would enjoy a hot tub for a little while. But, being on the shores of Lake Hartwell would be the best. Lake Hartwell is on the state line between South Carolina and Georgia. It is where Suzanne and I grew up.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful that we made it through this past week okay. It was a week of trying to decompress and get our lives back to normal. Normal just ain’t happening for a while. We have had storms and flooding.
This week we are enjoying the wildflowers. Texas’ wildflower season is one of the most beautiful sights in the world. If you every plan a trip to Texas, come during the spring. It can be beautiful. However, this season has been very overcast.
We hope you have a great week.

I am glad you are enjoying your Nutri bullet. I am too lazy to juice or even make salad dressing.
ReplyDeleteThis one is really easy. Just throw whatever you have in and hit the button. It is as easy as making a salad. You might enjoy a good smoothie made with banana, strawberry, and blueberry. These are all in season now here in Texas.
