Gratitude Journal Challenge

  1. What smell are you grateful for today?

I love the smell of fresh cut grass.  It takes me back to my to younger days.  Way back in the day, it was my job to mow the grass.  My family owned rental houses and we kept the grass mowed.  When I say we, I mean me.

I don’t know who mowed the grass when I went off to college.  It is a sure bet that it was not my younger brother.  He wouldn’t hit a lick at a snake, as the old saying goes.

Thank You, God, for grass.

I learned of this journalling challenge from Vanessa over at Vanessence.  She is doing the challenge this month (June) and her posts are titled “Gratitude in June”.  I told her we’d shoot for July.
