1. Did you watch the solar eclipse? Your thoughts? Sun Chips, Moon Pies, Starburst candies, a Blue Moon beer, a Sunkist orange, or a Milky Way candy bar...what's your favorite eclipse related snack on this list?
I did not watch the solar eclipse. It really held no appeal for me. I am a Southerner, I would be shot if I did not say Moon Pie. I love Moon Pies. I am not such a fan of RC Cola. When I grew up, the locals called it and R. O. C. cocola.
2. What are you 'over the moon' about these days? What's something you enjoy doing every 'once in a blue moon'?
I don’t really know of anything I am over the moon about. Life here is same-O Same-o. Every once in a blue moon, we go by our friend’s store and see him. We talk about business.
Also, every once in a blue moon we go for a ride by the river to see the flood gauge. Not much happens here in Gulf Coast Texas.
3. Tell us about something in the realm of science that interests you. How do you feed that interest?
I am really into mind powers. I like the whole NLP, hypnosis, subliminal messages, and the like. I have studied those for years. I often read about them and have performed a few experiments.
4. What are a few things you remember about going back to school as a child?
Back to school was often exciting. New clothes, a new teacher, same ol friends in a different setting. It was fun catching up. It was funny how much everyone changed over the summer.
5. I've seen several versions of this around the net so let's make one of our own...share with us five words that touch your soul and briefly tell us why.
God, Wife, Family, Friends, Love
Each one of these first four are affected by the last one. They all fit together nicely and have their own place, too.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
We would love some relief from the heat. The A/C in the car broke months ago. It is too darn hot to go outside and it is predicted to get hotter around here. Shoot, it was 100+ degrees here in February. We hope for cooler weather soon.

Regarding #3, that experiment that you did with Jared sure worked out pretty good!
ReplyDeleteI love you, my Zing. :)
It did work well. I love you, my Zing!
DeleteYikes, I'm hoping for cooler weather for you too!
ReplyDeleteWe are hoping for that, too. Have a great day.
DeleteThat's so true about people changing a lot over the summer. It was a lot of fun catching up and hearing about what they did. I like your list of five words; and love does, indeed, affect them all.
ReplyDeleteIt did not take long to get caught up and get back to being the usual little brats we were. I think those five words are interrelated. Have a great week.
DeleteI hope you get cooler weather soon, that sounds awful. I had no interest in the eclipse either, we ere only getting 60% coverage.
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get a tropical storm, or the remnants of one, tonight. We hope that will make it cooler. Have a great week.
DeleteI enjoyed your answers this week. We get very hot up here in the Granite State but it doesn't stay too long. Within a week or two the humidity breaks and the drier air is always several degrees cooler AND we are constantly aware that Winter is not too far off. I suspect that Gulf Coast Texas gets quite eventful on those rare occasions when a hurricane decides to make landfall there. I hope your hot weather breaks soon. Enjoy the rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteThank you. We are expecting a direct hit. We are right on the center of almost all the models. It can be eventful. The last time it was mostly a lot of wind. We don't really get cold weather here. It was over 100 in February. Have a great week.
DeleteThere was so much hype about not watching that I got scared! I like your answer for back to school. Hoping you get some relief soon from the heat.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Harvey brought the relief. After 100+ degree weather, 76 feels chilly. I am seriously thinking of putting on a sweater. How strange is that?
