Book Review: 3 Weird "Marketing Secrets" Of Successful Authors On Amazon: How They Got To #1 by Shaun Hibbs ASIN: B07HSKD45L

Most of the books we see that say something like Weird Secrets or Little Known Ways do not live up to the promise.

Whereas the secrets in 3 Weird "Marketing Secrets" Of Successful Authors On Amazon: How They Got To #1 by Shaun Hibbs aren’t really all that secret nor or they all that weird, they are all super effective.

We have read hundreds of books on marketing on Amazon and most of those aren’t even worth the time it would take to write a review.  3 Weird "Marketing Secrets" Of Successful Authors On Amazon is the real deal. We know because we deal with publicists all the time and we see how they market many of those “Best Sellers”.

These tips may not be all that secret and they might not be weird, but they are worth the price of the book.  You may already know what Hibbs has to say, but you might not know you know, or you might not be using this information correctly.

We give 3 Weird "Marketing Secrets" Of Successful Authors On Amazon all five stars.  We think you will, too.

Book Review: Authority Marketing: How to Leverage 7 Pillars of Thought Leadership to Make Competition Irrelevant by Adam Witty and Rusty Shelton ISBN: 978-1-946633-13-2

If you needed heart surgery right away, which doctor would you choose, the one who just read the latest textbook on the particular procedure you need, or the doctor who wrote it?

The book Authority Marketing: How to Leverage 7 Pillars of Thought Leadership to Make Competition Irrelevant by Adam Witty and Rusty Shelton explains in an easy to read way how you can come to be seen as a authority in your market.

We here at Manian Debil Productions receive hundreds of articles written by many different authors.  These articles are sent by many different publicists. We can only run so many. How do we choose which articles we run?  I did not realize it before, but this book explains why we pick those select few.

If you are trying to break out in your niche, you will find this book to be very helpful. It is also eye-opening.  It is sort of like Paco Underhill’s book Why We Buy in the idea that we should know this, but for some reason we don’t.

When you read this book you will probably think, “I knew that”. When you do think that, you will then wonder why you didn’t act on what you knew.  This book will help you act on that.

Five Star Review

We think anyone in any field that puts one in the  public eye should read Authority Marketing.  We give it all five stars and know you will, too.

Competing With Giants: How One Family-Owned Company Took on the Multinationals and Won by Phương Uyên Trần and Jackie Horne ISBN: 978-1-94663-315-6

It is unusual to find a book like Competing With Giants: How One Family-Owned Company Took on the Multinationals and Won by Phương Uyên Trần and Jackie Horne.  It works well as a casual reading experience about business. It also works well as a source of historical information.

In this book readers learn a little about the history of Vietnam and the surrounding areas.  Readers learn about the perceptions the Vietnamese people have of the United States of America and the rest of the world.

By now, you may be thinking that this book only works as a business book and a history book.  It also shows readers an insight into how families can, and perhaps should, relate to one another.

This book works as a book to inspire small business owners as they seek to compete with larger companies.  This book works also as a biography of the founder and founding family of one of the largest companies in Vietnam as well as a biography of the author.

If you are in business and want to compete on a global level, you should read this book It should help you understand a little better about how to think like the culture you are trying to market to.

We give Competing With Giants all five stars.  We think it is written well and provides a wealth of information from the perspective of someone other than a Western business person.  It would make a great textbook.

We were sent a complimentary PDF copy of this book.  We are under no obligation to write any review, positive or negative.

McClendon Studios Presents: Shine Your Shoe Mister?

McClendon Studios Presents:
Shine Your Shoe Mister, Free

One of the greatest salesmen I have ever heard of was a little boy in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

Years ago, my father won a contest for selling appliances. This was not unusual because he was a super salesman. The trip was to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. My mother did not want to go, so my father invited his best friend Tom Dudley to take the trip with him.
One day, while walking down the street, my father and Tom passed by a little shoe shine boy. The boy called out to my father, “Shine shoe, mister, free.” My father knew something was up, but went along with it. The boy worked and shined my father’s shoe very professionally. The shoe looked really good. Then, the boy said “Shine other shoe, $2.” Now, who is going to walk around with only one shoe shined?

My father laughed and had the boy shine the other shoe. My father always appreciated a good sales pitch and he had heard the best.
